One of the top unsigned 2018 prospects in Wisconsin, Gacoby Jones has put together a very solid senior season.  Averaging 21 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds Jones has helped lead his Dominican team to a 15-3 record.

"I think I am playing well. I feel I have been doing a good job in balancing out my game and getting my teammates involved.  I've became more of a versatile player this year hitting from all areas on the floor," Jones said.  "Once we play more together nobody can beat us with the depth we have between me, Abe Scruggs IV, and Alex Antetokounmpo.”

Jones is an ultra-explosive and athletic guard who has the ability and mentality to take over a game at any given moment.  Jones excels at getting to the rim using his quick and shifty cross overs while finishing at the rim as well as anyone I've seen this season.  The 6-1 guard has some of the best bounce in the state and can put his defenders on a poster any given possession.  He is the senior leader for his team and takes pride in leading his guys and getting his young teammates involved.

Jones recruitment has picked up in recent months and he's been hearing from a handful of Division 1 schools including UW-Milwaukee, Montana State, IPFW, and Bradley.  "Finding the right system and coaches that believe in me and will allow me to play my game," Jones said when asked about what is going into his decision.  Focused on finishing the season strong the talented guard plans on waiting until after the season to schedule some visits.

Jones played with Playground Elite of the NY2LA Association during the traveling grassroots season.
