Another full night of action hit the courts in Wisconsin on Friday and prospects young and old like junior wing Deonte Burton of Milwaukee Vincent stood front and center with strong performances. Here’s a look at some of those who shined under the Friday Night Lights across the state…
2013 SF Deonte Burton scored 28 points to lead Milwaukee Vincent to a 74-38 victory. Burton played with the TP Elite last summer.
2012 PF Phillip Nolan finished with 19 to help Milwaukee Riverside to a 67-50 on Friday. Nolan played with the DTA Spartans last summer.
2013 G Matthew Thomas dropped in 17 as Onalaska rolled to a 67-33 victory. Thomas played with the Wisconsin Playmakers during the grassroots travel season.
2012 SG Zak Showalter poured in 31 points to help Germantown to a 90-54 victory on Friday. He played with the Wisconsin Swing last summer.
2013 PG Brandon Ramey scored 14 points to lead Menomonee Falls to a 56-43 victory over Brookfield Central. He played with the Playground Elite last summer.
2013 SG Jake Laihinen poured in 23 points to lift Homestead to a 68-54 victory over Nicolet on Friday. He played with the Wisconsin Swing last summer.
2012 F Najeal McMillian scored 13 to help West Allis Central to a 64-55 victory over Sussex Hamilton. 2014 SG Brady Ellingson scored 18 in the loss. McMillian played with the Wisconsin Playground Warriors while Ellingson played with the Ray Allen Select program last summer.
2012 G Chris Golden dropped 19 points to push Wisconsin Lutheran past Beaver Dam 63-55. Golden played with the TP Elite last summer.
2012 SG Stephen Pelkofer scored 18 to lift Whitnall to a 66-61 victory on Friday. He played with the Friends of Hoop program last summer.
2012 SG Brandon Tyler poured in 25 to lead Omro to a 59-22 win on Friday. He played with the Fox Valley Fire last summer.
2014 SG Nick Klar finished with 27 points as Marquette rolled to a 73-50 victory. Klar played with Team Flash during the grassroots travel season.
2012 G/F Austin Stueck finished with 21 points to help South Milwaukee to a 54-40 victory. Stueck played with the Friends of Hoop program last summer.
2012 G/F Austin Arians scored 26 points to lead Madison Edgewood to a 55-48 victory. Arians hit the hardwood with the Wisconsin Swing last summer.
2012 F Tanner Plomb finished with a game high 30 points as East Troy rolled to a 76-38 win. Plomb played with the Wisconsin Playground Warriors last summer.
2014 SG Jerrelle Deberry poured in 35 as Destiny won 98-43. Deberry played with the Milwaukee Running Rebels last summer.
