Class of 2011 Prospect Look - 5'10" PG George Marshall Jr. - Illinois

By Antonio Curro - NY2LA Sports

November 2, 2007

The Class of 2011 is shaping up to be another strong class and one reason for that is a young guard who's putting it down on the courts of Chicago named George Marshall Jr.  The 5'10" PG is already highly regarded on a national level and currently listed as one of the top guards in the Class of 2011 and a Top 50 prospect right now on national rankings boards across the country!

The multi-talented Marshall has all the makings of a big time point guard in the coming years as he already has excellent ball handling ability, big time speed & quickness, solid athleticism, the ability to penetrate and create, and makes solid decisions with the basketball.  As his skill set and physical tools both continue to develop and mature in the coming years, expect George to continue to establish himself one of the top Class of 2011 prospects in the country.

George is part of a loaded freshman class at Brooks College Preparatory Academy in Illinois and will play his high school basketball for new Head Coach Chris Head, a legend in his own right both on the high school level and the summer level.  Chris Head is easily one of the most respected coaches in Illinois so you can expect that with continued hard work and development, George will walk out of Brooks as a big time prospect both on and off the court and a host of mid to high major programs will all be standing in line waiting for him at the next level!
