Today
we continue our look at potential high major impact freshman in the coming years
and in doing so we stop by Brooks College Preparatory Academy and look at 6'6"
forward Kevin Gray (pictured left), another of the top freshman in the Midwest.Gray has excellent size, length, and big time upside to say the least. The long athletic young forward has some decent instincts around the basket and has also shown a solid skill set for a young interior prospect including the ability to step away from the basket and hit the mid range jump shot on occasion.
Gray is part of an absolutely loaded freshman class for Head Coach Chris Head and Brooks College Preparatory Academy, which also includes the likes of PG George Marshall and Kevin's identical twin brother, Keith Gray!
That's
right the Gray name doesn't boast just one top young interior prospect, they
boast two of them as 6'6" Class of 2011 forward Keith Gray (pictured right) plays
right alongside his brother and George Marshall at Brooks. Keith is pretty
much the carbon copy of his brother in that he has some nice size, excellent
length, and a great frame. While Kevin is widely considered to be a step
ahead of his twin brother on the skill side right now, Keith has already shown
flashes of what everyone expects to be an exceptional high school career this
year. As both Kevin and Keith continue to develop both physically and skill wise in the coming years, expect each of them to become major impact players on the high school scene in Illinois and in doing so collect a host of mid to high major interest nationally.
