2011 Prospect Watch - 5'9" PG Shane Taylor - Wisconsin

By Antonio Curro - NY2LA Sports

October 30, 2007

The future of Wisconsin basketball is very bright and one of the reasons why is 5'9" Class of 2011 PG prospect Shane Taylor of Depere, WI.  The multi-skilled left-handed PG is one of the top frosh prospects in the state of Wisconsin as he has excellent athleticism, solid ball handling, the ability to attack the rim, he can create for his teammates, and he also can put the ball in the basket.

The athletic Taylor has an excellent first step and he is very aggressive and really has an uncanny ability of getting to the rim and making big things happen on the offensive end.  Taylor put down excellent performances this past summer at the 2007 Generation Next All-Star Camp and also the 2007 WarGamez 3 on 3 tournament where he led his team to the 14U division championship after again showing that he can attack opposing defenders in a number of ways.

Taylor is another of the strong frosh prospects in the state of Wisconsin and with continued development and hard work it's likely that Shane will collect a lot of interest from colleges in the coming years!
