2007 Next Level Showcase M.V.P. 09' Danny Mckeown is one to watch
One of the best kept secrets and
biggest sleepers in the state of Wisconsin is 5'10" Class of 2009 PG Danny
Mckeown of Milwaukee North Division. Danny, who rocked this past summer
with the Blessed IJN Purple Grassroots team, is an excellent all around talent
who can handle the ball, score, and create on the offensive end.
Mckeown recent put down an unbelievable performance at the 2007 NY2LA Sports Next Level Showcase in earning M.V.P. honors at the camp! He was unstoppable on the offensive end as he put on a clinic with a dazzling array of mid range jumpers, floaters, and 3 point shots game after game. At one point Danny completely took over for a 3 minute stretch as he dropped 8 consecutive baskets from all over the court.
Danny has the skill set, awareness, speed, quickness, and all around floor game to play at the Division 1 level, size notwithstanding. The smooth lefty can play with most anyone anytime and he also has the reputation of stepping up and both taking and making big time clutch shots in big time situations.
Baylor and Wyoming have inquired about Danny in recent months.
