Class of 2009 Prospect Watch - 6'9" F Luke Russell - Wisconsin

The Class of 2009 is very solid throughout the Midwest and one player that's continuing to pop up more and more on the radars of mid to high major programs is 6'9" forward Luke Russell of Menomonee Falls High School in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
Russell already has an offer on the table from UW-Green Bay and he's also gotten interest from the likes of Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, Marquette, and UW-Milwaukee in recent months.
The young forward has solid length and he's become increasingly more aggressive on the offensive end, primarily in terms of rebounding the ball and finishing around the basket. He recently posted 18 points against fellow 09' prospect Ben Averkamp in helping his Menomonee Falls squad to an upset of the favored Germantown program earlier this year.
Russell has nice size and length and his skill set and strength is still very raw so there's room for him to continue to develop and grow over the next couple years. He has the potential to eventually become a solid interior prospect at the next level if he continues to progress and you can expect a host of mid to high major programs to step up their interest in Russell, who is already one of the top Class of 2009 prospects available in the state of Wisconsin.
