With the high school season only a few months away, the fall provides players
with an important time to work on their individual skills while
preparing for their respective high school seasons. With an emphasis on
positional development, individual skill development and improvement, as well as
local, regional, and national exposure we have designed the
NY2LASports.com Breakfast of Champions League for Class of 2009, 2010, 2011,
and 2012 prospects will take off on October 12, 2008.
The league will run from October 12, 2008 - November 16, 2008 and will take
place every Sunday morning between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. inside the M.S.O.E. Kern
Center in downtown Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Class of 2009 & 2010 prospects will be
placed on teams in Division A and Class of 2011 & 2012 prospects will be placed
on teams in Division B. Each Division will feature league play amongst the
other teams in their division each week followed by divisional playoffs and
championships. All teams will participate in 1 skill session and 1 full
length game each week. The skill sessions will vary and will be designed
and focused on improving different areas and skills each week.
The purpose of this league is to provide the participants with the same type of
benefits of the one day showcase throughout the 6 weeks of the league while also
providing the participants with positional and individual skill sessions focused
on development and improvement of their skill sets while also preparing them for
the upcoming high school seasons. NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, NJCAA
schools as well as local, regional and national recruiting services will be
invited to attend the league.
Limited spacing is available in each division and registration is on a first
come first serve basis. The cost of the league is $175 per participant and
all registrations include a reversible jersey and shorts. Antonio Curro
will be the director of the league. Antonio Curro is the President and
founder of NY2LA Sports, the National Recruiting Editor for NY2LASports.com, the
Midwest Editor for the HoopScoop and national consultant to various colleges and
services locally, regionally, and nationally.
