One of the top Class of 2009 prospects in the country continues to generate high major interest as 6'6" G/F Rodney Williams Jr. of Robbinsdale Cooper has a number of offers on the table and interest from others coming weekly.
The explosively athletic Williams is said to now come in at 6'6" which does nothing more than add increased value to a player who's already shown he is pound for pound one of the most athletically gifted talents in the Class of 2009.

The slashing G/F prospect burst on the scene this past spring/summer and before it was said and done, Williams came in as a Top 20 player at the Nike Hoop Jamboree camp, was invited and participated in the Lebron James Skills Academy, and was selected as an alternate for the Top 40 U.S. team that played this past summer in the Nike Global Challenge held in Portland, Oregon.  He also helped the Howard Pulley Panthers 17U Black team become one of the strongest in the country as their Final Four finish in the Platinum division of the 2007 Houston Kingwood Classic gave evidence of!

The athletic Williams can absolutely fly and is easily one of the most explosive leaping and slashing prospects in the Class of 2009.  The best thing about Rodney is that his skill set is still raw and with added aggressiveness and hard work in the coming months, he will have a host of high majors putting offers on the table.  Not that that hasn't happened already as Rodney Williams Jr. has already secured offers from some of the biggest name programs in the country.  Expect that trend to continue!

Rodney Williams Jr. and his fellow Robbinsdale Cooper teammates travel to Milwaukee, Wisconsin January 5, 2008 to take on Class of 2010 standout Flavien Davis and the Wisconsin Lutheran Vikings at Wisconsin Lutheran College.  This matchup pits two of the top young forward prospects in the country head to head and should be one of the top matchups of the upcoming year in the Midwest.
