To provide our youth with opportunities for enrichment through the participation in positive, safe, and rewarding athletic arenas that benefit the players, families, and communities involved.
NY2LA Sports is a company that focuses on basketball, football, and baseball for amateur athletes and also provides basketball and football events for adults still looking for quality opportunities to compete. These events provide our youth with athletic arenas to gain additional exposure and experience which give them opportunities to participate in sports beyond the grade school and high school levels.
Our staff has built a reputation for producing quality grassroots sporting events in the country. This past year over 5,000 competitors and 15,000 fans have participated in and enjoyed our events respectively. With the Swish & Dish Spring Warm-Up, the NY2LA Sports Invitational, the NY2LA Sports Baseball Academy, the Next Level Showcase basketball exposure camps, the WarGamez tournaments and new events in the future, NY2LA Sports looks forward to the continued opportunity to provide boys and girls opportunities to showcase their skills and pursue their dreams.
We are dedicated to exceeding our players, coaches, families, and sponsors expectations in the coming years while striving to achieve excellence and continued growth.
NY2LA Sports is sensitive to the current events taking place throughout the world and we would like to take this opportunity to extend our deepest support to those families across the world with loved ones in combat. We would also like to extend our deepest sympathies to families who have lost loved ones in combat and/or as a result of the same.
We realize the use of “Wargamez” for a basketball or football tournament may not always be understood and we are in no way trying to bring joy or light to the serious issues abroad. However, as most who participate in sports know, athletic competitions are commonly referred to as “battles”, “struggles”, “wars”, and the like. Obviously a simple game can in no way reflect the hurt and pain that is associated with military combat. We are not trying to imply in any way that that is the case.
NY2LA Sports apologizes in advance to anyone who may take offense to the terminology and simply asks that those people understand the context of the extent and realize the drastic disparities in the same way that NY2LA Sports does. These events are designed to bring people together for purely competitive purposes. Any other reference or inference derived from the event is purely incidental and not intended.
