Things are just beginning on the recruiting trail for Sun Prairie (Wis.) 2015 Guard Nick Noskowiak, one of the premiere young marksmen in the state of Wisconsin.  Already holding one offer in hand, the talented young prospect is on the radar of a host of mid and high major programs with more coming each week.  We caught up with Noskowiak to get the latest…

One of the premiere talents in the 2015 class for the state of Wisconsin, Noskowiak hits the court with a strong 6-3 175 pound frame and a lights out perimeter stroke that he can utilize to take over the game offensively when he’s at his best.  Following in the footsteps of recent Badger state sharpshooters like Paul Jesperson (Virginia), Matt Thomas (Iowa State), and Nick Fuller (Nebraska), Noskowiak seems primed to become a hot commodity in the coming years given his skill, instincts, and ability to put the ball in the basket with consistency from anywhere on the court.  Noskowiak has also shown an improved ability to slide over to the lead guard position as well while displaying handles and an ability to create on the offensive end from time to time.

Noskowiak holds a scholarship offer from UW-Milwaukee and after putting together a strong spring and summer campaign with the Wisconsin Playground Warriors, the talented guard has seen his list of schools expand substantially over the past couple of months.

"I worked hard in July to get my name out there more and play to my capabilities," he said. "I just went out there, worked hard, and came out of July pretty excited. I have a lot of schools interested, I have an offer, so it's pretty exciting."

Head Coach Rob Jeter and Wisconsin-Milwaukee offered Noskowiak this summer.

"He just told me he really liked the way I played,” Noskowiak explained. “He really liked my energy, how I found my teammates, and how he felt I knew when to shoot and when to give it up."

"It was really exciting. I liked the coaches there a lot when I went and visited."

Noskowiak is also fielding early interest from Boston College, Creighton, Illinois-Chicago, Iowa State, Northern Iowa, North Dakota State, Minnesota, Northern Illinois, Loyola (IL), and Wisconsin among others.

Noskowiak has visits set up to Northern Illinois (September 8th), Wisconsin (September 15th) and both Iowa State and Northern Iowa (September 29th).

"In July Coach (Greg) Gard was at a couple of our games,” said Noskowiak. “They've talked to my AAU coach. It's pretty exciting.

Noskowiak was named to the 15U All-Tournament teams of the 2012 Swish N’ Dish Spring Warm-Up in April, the 2012 Spring Extravaganza in April, and the 2012 NY2LA Sports Invitational in May.  He played with the Wisconsin Playground Warriors program during the grassroots travel season.
