A hungry group of young prospects took to the courts of the annual Breakfast of Champions Fall Basketball League looking to make their mark this fall and as the final whistle blew talented freshmen like Corian Davis of Waukesha West High School had opened eyes and delivered solid performances.  We continue our coverage of the annual fall basketball gala with a look at the 2012 BOC All-League 1st Team for the Futures Division this morning…

He delivered a stellar breakout type campaign this fall as Davis attacked off the bounce, knocked down mid-range jumpers, stroked the trey ball, and contributed on both ends of the court with solid efforts each week.  He was active defensively, showed an ability to put the ball in the basket in a variety of ways, displayed nice instincts, and was active with and without the ball.  Excellent fall performance.

Deang Deang – 2016 – SG – Madison East (WI)
Stat Line – 10.3 PPG – 5.5 RPG – 3.5 APG – 2.8 SPG – 0.5 BPG
Floor Impact – 22.5 FIPG – Matrix 9.5 MPG – Efficiency 9.8 EPG

As the league rolled along Deang elevated his play each week and captured Player of the Week honors for week 3.  He shot over 60 percent from the field (i.e. 17-28 FG), he was active on the glass, he made solid decisions with the ball, he was disruptive defensively, and overall he delivered a number of quality floor performances that filled the box score each week.  Equipped with instincts, and unselfish style of play, and an ability to do things with efficiency and production on both ends, Deang was really impressive at times this fall.

Dominique Hoskins – 2015 – SG – Sussex Hamilton (WI)
Stat Line – 11.5 PPG – 4.8 RPG – 2.0 APG – 1.0 SPG – 0.5 BPG
Floor Impact – 19.8 FIPG – Matrix 7.0 MPG – Efficiency 9.5 EPG

Played hard and competed each week and opened some eyes in the process. Hoskins has range beyond the arc, he can score off the bounce in traffic, he has solid instincts, and he brings some nice energy to the court on both ends.  He was consistent every week and brought solid effort to both ends of the court while impressing with his overall production as well.  A nice performance this fall.

Josh Mueller – 2016 – F/C – Homestead (WI)
Stat Line – 8.3 PPG – 9.3 RPG – 0.8 APG – 0.3 SPG – 1.3 BPG
Floor Impact – 19.8 FIPG – Matrix 10.5 MPG – Efficiency 7.8 EPG

He was active this fall and dominant around the basket with consistency making for a nice overall performance throughout the league.  Mueller showed nice instincts and aggressiveness on the glass and he finished around the basket with a variety of post moves in impressive fashion.  A strong interior prospect on the rise, Mueller contributed with and without the ball and he delivered some dominant interior performances in the process.

Cole Schmitz – 2016 – SG – Verona (WI)
Stat Line – 12.7 PPG – 6.3 RPG – 2.0 APG – 1.0 SPG – 0.3 BPG
Floor Impact – 22.3 FIPG – Matrix 7.7 MPG – Efficiency 7.7 EPG

A solid marksman from long range with instincts and a nice feel for the game, Schmitz impressed this fall with his versatile scoring package as well as his ability to attack the glass and create at times offensively.  He was active at times in impressive fashion and delivered solid and productive performances each week and made his presence felt in the process.
