The high school season got underway last week in Wisconsin and despite a limited schedule of games this past weekend a number of highly impressive performances led by 2014 PG Reed Timmer’s 43 point explosion for New Berlin Eisenhower led the way.  Here’s a quick recap of some performances of note from this past weekend…

2014 PG Reed Timmer scored 43 points to help New Berlin Eisenhower to a 78-46 victory over Muskego.  Timmer played with the Ray Allen Select program this past summer.

2014 SF Kevon Looney followed up his opening night 50 point effort with a 26 point performance on Friday to help Milwaukee Hamilton to a 74-50 victory over Sheboygan South.  He played with the Milwaukee Rebels during the grassroots travel season.

2014 SG Jerrelle Deberry poured in 38 points but it wasn’t enough as West Allis Central defeated Destiny 80-74 behind 26 points and 8 assists from 2015 PG Brandon Key on Friday.  Deberry played with the Playground Elite program while Key played with the Milwaukee Rebels this past summer.

2013 G Carlin Dupree scored 26 points to pace Milwaukee Bay View to a 69-63 victory over Nicolet on Friday.  He played with the Sherman Park Express this past summer.

2014 SG Joe Sherburne scored 20 points to lift Whitefish Bay to a 73-43 victory over South Milwaukee on Friday.  He played with the Playground Elite this past summer.

2014 SG Brady Ellingson dropped 21 points as Sussex Hamilton defeated West Bend East 55-35 on Friday.  Ellingson played with the Ray Allen Select program this past summer.

2014 SG Sean Clarey erupted for 30 points to lead Brookfield Academy to a 94-54 victory over Kenosha Christian Life Friday evening.  He played with the Playground Elite this past summer.

2013 PG Nathaniel Moore led Wauwatosa East with 17 points as the Red Raiders defeated Racine Park 61-37 on Friday.  He played with the Playground Elite this past summer.

2014 F Jonathan Carson powered in 22 points as Messmer outlasted University School 64-62 on Friday.  He played with the Playground Elite program this past summer.

2013 PF Toby Hegner scored 33 points but it wasn’t enough as Berlin fell to Fox Valley Lutheran 70-67 on Friday.  Hegner played with the Wisconsin Playmakers this past summer.

2013 G/F Terrance Garner scored 16 points as Oak Creek rolled to a 46-29 victory over the Milwaukee School of Languages on Friday night.  He played with the Wisconsin Shooters this past summer.

2013 SG Joe Burbach scored 33 points as Port Washington defeated Waukesha South 63-57 on Friday.  He played with the Wisconsin Blizzard this past summer.

2015 SG Mason Domask poured in 18 points to pace Waupun to a 51-45 victory over Two Rivers on Friday.  He played with the Wisconsin Playground Warriors this past summer.

UPCOMING EVENT
The sixth annual NY2LA Sports Classic will tip on Saturday December 15, 2012 at Homestead High School in Mequon, Wisconsin.  The event will feature 16 boys varsity teams from the state of Wisconsin with the following schools set to appear:  Milwaukee Vincent, Dominican, Milwaukee Hamilton, Onalaska, Homestead, Marquette University High School, Oconomowoc, Brookfield Central, Milwaukee Washington, Wauwatosa East, Wisconsin Lutheran, Brookfield Academy, Little Chute, West Allis Central, Nicolet, and Saint Johns NW Military Academy.  CLICK HERE for a complete schedule of games
