Elizabeth (N.J.) St. Patrick 2013 Point Guard Isaiah Lewis is currently focused on four schools. Providence, Seton Hall, South Florida, and UNLV have taken the reigns as the top group for the senior guard.  We caught up with the talented senior earlier this week to get the latest.

Despite having not extended an offer yet, UNLV is currently the leader of Lewis' pack.

"UNLV, they're close to offering me," Lewis told NY2LASPORTS Monday night. "They're my favorite right now. They're supposed to see me next week and I'm taking my official visit there next month.

"Their point guard is leaving next year. They play an up-tempo style. Their tradition is great. I think I could go there and get better."

Lewis believes Providence is a program on the rise. The 6-3 guard is a big believer in the Friars' coaching staff.

"Providence has been recruiting me for a long time," said Lewis. "I think Coach (Bob) Simon and Coach (Ed) Cooley; they're going to do a great job of turning it around. It's a program that's going to get back what it used to be. I think they do a great job of coaching and I think they could help me get better."

Lewis and the Seton Hall coaching staff have been very close for a number of years now. Playing basketball in New Jersey, Lewis is very familiar with the Pirates program.

"I go to school in New Jersey, so Coach Shaheen Holloway, he's been recruiting me since eighth grade," Lewis explained. "They offered me as a freshman. Coach Holloway and I have a great relationship. He talks to my family a lot. I go up there a lot, just to watch them work out or go to a home game."

Lewis has a good relationship with the coaching staff at South Florida as well.

"Coach (Stan) Heath," he said. "I like the gritty style of Coach Heath. They're going to be good for the next upcoming years. Me and Coach (Eric) Skeeters have a good relationship."

Arizona State, DePaul, Florida State, and USC also remain in contact with Lewis.

At this point however, Providence, Seton Hall, South Florida, and UNLV remain the main schools Lewis is focused on.

"I'll take official visits to that group there," he said. "Those are the ones showing me the most love, so I'm going to take my official visits there."
