Chasing Madison Memorial in the Big Eight Conference, Sun Prairie was able to stay a game and a half behind the Spartans, barely surviving the upset minded Madison West Regents 64-59 thanks to Nebraska bound senior Nick Fuller who poured in 40 points.  Sun Prairie raced out to an early first quarter lead, but Madison West came roaring back in the second quarter to take a lead at the break. Both teams were neck and neck until late in the fourth quarter, as the Cardinals narrowly escaped with a home victory.

Malik Clements - SG - 2014 - West HS
6-3 - Madison, WI

Clements had to work for everything he got Thursday night. The junior did an excellent job of moving without the basketball against Sun Prairie's zone. Clements carried the Regents in the first half with 15 of their 27 points, finishing with 23 for the game. Clements also had a number of steals and did a nice job on Fuller when he was assigned to the Nebraska commit.

6-7 - Sun Prairie, WI

It was just a typical night for Nebraska commit Nick Fuller who's been putting up huge numbers all season. The senior forward dropped 40 points against Madison West and was crucial down the stretch getting to the free throw line, knocking down 3-pointers, and finishing in traffic.

Nick Noskowiak - PG - 2015 - Sun Prairie HS
6-3 - Sun Prairie HS

Noskowiak battled foul trouble in the first half, but came back and had a solid outing. The sophomore finished with 13 points and a handful of assists.

Mc Fadden came alive in the second half for Madison West, helping get the Regents the lead in the third quarter with some hot shooting. Mc Fadden knocked down three 3-pointers from NBA range and beyond in the second half.
