Whitnall appeared primed for an upset Saturday night over top-seeded New Berlin Eisenhower. The Falcons showed no fear, racing out to an early lead and going toe-to-toe with the Lions throughout the game. Although they were on the brink of being knocked out much of the night, Eisenhower, getting a lift from an unlikely source in the end, would stay as still as a statue, and hold off the upset minded Falcons 61-51.

Daniel Weymier – 2013 – G – Whitnall HS
5-11 – Whitnall, WI
Weymier displayed an excellent mid-range game, getting into the paint and pulling up for jump shots. The senior scored 18 points against Eisenhower and was tough to handle throughout much of the game.
Reed Timmer – 2014 – PG – Eisenhower HS
6-2 – New Berlin, WI
Timmer sprinted out of the gates with 12 quick points to start the game, finishing with 14 for the first half. As good as he was then, Timmer finished the game even stronger, putting together a clutch fourth quarter to help Eisenhower hang onto a slim lead. The junior finished with 23 points on the night.
Corbin Messman – 2013 – G – Eisenhower HS
6-2 – New Berlin, WI
We didn’t hear Messman’s name until Eisenhower was in serious trouble in the second half. Starting at the end of the third quarter and to begin the fourth, Messman rattled off four-straight 3-pointers to lift Eisenhower to the victory. The senior finished with 14 points, all coming in the second half.
Mitch Arman – 2013 – F – Eisenhower HS
6-3 – New Berlin, WI
Arman was Mr. Reliable for Eisenhower, particularly late in the game. The senior got his looks down low and capitalized. Arman also brought a solid rebounding presence, snatching just about everything that came his way. The 6-3 forward also showed the ability to shoot from the outside. He chipped in with 11 points.
Sandro Pesqueira – 2013 – G – Eisenhower HS
6-1 – New Berlin, WI
The lefty point guard put together a solid performance Saturday night. Pesqueira is a big guard, who uses his body well in the paint. The senior also showed the ability to stretch the defense with some nice 3-point shooting, coming off screens. He finished with 11 points.
