The 2014 Swish N Dish tournament tipped off on Friday as some of the top prospects and programs were in attendance to showcase their talents in the NY2LA Sports spring opening event. Here's a look at some of the top performances and prospects from Friday's opening games.

Top prospects
Joshua Stamps 6'5 SG DRose

Stamps looked as good as any prospect on opening night of Swish N Dish. Stamps scored 18 points before leaving the 9 minutes left in the second half with the cut in a 72-71 loss to Kingdom Hoops on Friday night.

Luwane Pipkins 6'0 PG Mac Irvin Fire
Showed great leadership and composure in a 77-69 comeback win over Wisconsin United on Friday night. Pipkins set the tone for the tournament finishing with 16 pts and delivering a complete floor game.

Henry Ellenson 6'10 PF Playground Elite
Ellenson’s dynamic skill set was on full display in the showcase game against Meanstreets Friday night scoring 15 pts in a defeat. Ellenson is an upper level elite prospect to pay attention to throughout the spring and summer.

Jaylen Key 6'8 F Wisconsin United
One of the most impressive performances of the night scoring 27 pts in a battle before falling 77-69 to Mac Irvine Fire on Friday night.  Key played with great energy on both sides of the ball attacking the basket, rebounding and defending on a high level.

DJ Williams 6'7 SF Mean streets
WilliamsChristian Williams 6'6 SF Illinois Irish delivered a solid overall performance finishing with 13 pts and helping  Meanstreets over Playground Elite Friday night.  Williams is one of the most talented prospects in the event and a player to keep an eye out for.

Chris Howell 6'4 SG DTA Devin Harris Superstars
Howell was solid scoring 15 points leading DTA to a 71-64 opening round win over the Illinois Wolves. Howell played with great effectiveness attacking when the defense opened.

Davon Dillard 6'5 SF Mac Irvin Fire
Dillard was one of the most dynamic athletes of the night.  Dillard played with great aggressiveness on both sides of the court finishing with 18 pts in a win over Wisconsin United Friday night.

Christian Williams 6'6 SF Illinois Irish

Williams showed great versatility doing it all in a 57-53 win over the Louisville Magic on Friday night. Williams finished with 14 pts in a solid opening night win.

Marshawn Wilson 6'2 G Wisconsin United
Wilson is a dynamic athlete who showed great explosiveness around the rim in an 10 point effort on opening night.

Derek Jones 6'6 F Kingdom Hoops
He dropped a high level performance scoring 19 pts in a 72-71 with over DRose. Derek showed great potential and is a prospect to lookout for the rest of the event.
