The inaugural Generation Next Basketball Association featured some of the premier young names and prospects in the country at various levels this past spring and summer and this weekend will culminate an explosive 2014 campaign for many of them with the GNBA 7th & 8th Grade All-Star Weekend set to run August 8-10, 2014 at Milwaukee Lutheran High School in Wisconsin.  The weekend will feature the GNBA 7th & 8th Grade All-Star games on Friday followed by the annual Generation Next All-Star Camp on Saturday and Sunday.

The festivities open on Friday with the 7th & 8th Grade All-Star Games tipping off inside the Milwaukee Lutheran High School Fieldhouse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where some of the best young talent in the country will hit the hardwood for a night of exciting basketball.  Close to 40 of the best 7th and 8th graders in the country are set to compete including, but not limited to, the likes of Courtney Ramey (Team Ramey), Marquise Brown (Mac Irvin), Chase Adams (Mac Irvin), Monty Johal (Yanders Law), Gabe Kalscheur (43 Hoops), Deontay Long (Milwaukee Spartans), Trequan Carrington (Playground Elite), Joe Wieskamp (Iowa Barnstormers), Joffari Brown (Mac Irvin), Mario McKinney (Team Ramey), Desi Sills (Arkansas Hawks), Alan Griffin (IL Rising Stars), Tyrell Terry (Team Sizzle), etc.  The 7th grade game will tip at 6:00 pm followed by the 8th grade game at approximately 7:30 pm.  Both games are free for the general public to attend and the doors open at Milwaukee Lutheran High School at 5:30 pm on Friday night.

The weekend continues on Saturday and Sunday with the prestigious NY2LA Sports Generation Next All-Star Camp.  The two day camp will feature many of the top GNBA 7th and 8th graders that competed this past spring and summer.  The camp will offer up skill drills both individual and team wise along with full length games and a camp tournament on Sunday that promises to be exciting from start to finish.  This exclusive and elite camp annually draws many of the top prospects in the country with an alumni list that includes the following:  Jabari Parker (Duke/Milwaukee Bucks), Jean-Pierre Tokoto (North Carolina), Marcus Paige (North Carolina), Tyus Jones (Duke), Siyani Chambers (Harvard), R.J. Curington (DePaul), Elgin Cook (Oregon), Dominique Collier (Colorado), Sedrick Barefield (SMU), Deonte Burton (Marquette), Duane Wilson Jr. (Marquette), Kevon Looney (UCLA), etc.
