Kicking off the July evaluation period, some of the nation’s top travel programs will make their way to Milwaukee for the NY2LA Sports Next Level Invitational. With hundreds of Division 1, 2, and 3 coaches expected to be in attendance tonight, expect an action-packed day of basketball

Here’s a few of the many games to check out opening night of the NY2LA Sports Next Level Invitational:

Quad City Elite vs. Yanders Law – 6:05 PM – Court 2 – Homestead HS
Always a tournament favorite, Quad City Elite takes on Yanders Law in the opener. Led be Nebraska commit Isaiah Roby and rising big man Noah McCarty, Quad City Elite is a dangerous combination of offensive firepower and gritty defense. Yanders Law has a big and deep front line that could give Quad City Elite some problems Wednesday night.

Illinois Celtics vs. Wisconsin Shooters – 7:10 PM – Court 1 – Homestead HS
The duo of Devon Sams and Elyjah Goss lead the Illinois Celtics into the July evaluation period. The Wisconsin Shooters are filled with a number of under the radar prospects looking to shine in July. Expect this to be one of the more thrilling games of on opening night.

Milwaukee Spartans vs. Net Gain Sports – 7:10 PM – Court 2 – Homestead HS
Two of the tournament favorites square off on opening night. Net Gain Sports will be somewhat shorthanded, but still feature 2017 point guard McKinley Wright. The electric Te’Jon Lucas looks to lead the Milwaukee Spartans to another title in Milwaukee as numerous high major schools will have eyes on him this weekend. 

Mercury Elite vs. Kingdom Hoops Elite – 7:10 PM – Court 3 – Homestead HS
One of the best kept secrets in the Midwest, shooting guard Justin Pierce will be on display Wednesday night. Leading Mercury Elite into their opening night contest, we’ll see if Pierce can continue his stellar play against high-scoring combo guard Shammond Ivory and Kingdom Hoops Elite. 

Team NLP vs. Ray Allen Select – 8:15 PM – Court 1 – Homestead HS 
The dynamic duo of Brandon Hall and Jordon Thorton is capable of keeping Team NLP in the game against anyone in the field. A pleasant surprise last summer, wing Taurus Adams is the focal point for Ray Allen Select. Expect an up and down, physical game between these two teams Wednesday night. 

Wisconsin Swing vs. ECI Select – 8:15 PM – Court 2 – Homestead HS 
Coming off a great spring, Northern Iowa commit Juwan McCloud looks to lead the Wisconsin Swing to another title run. He’ll pair with under the radar stretch forward Max Keefe to form a dangerous duo. ECI Select will look to win with size, led by Dustin Weeks and intriguing 6-foot-6 point forward Braedan Hansen. 

Colorado Titans vs. REAL Athletics – 8:15 PM – Court 3 – Homestead HS 
Two intriguing shooting guards with square off against one another Wednesday night. The savvy Justinian Jessup for Colorado Titans is one of the fastest rising prospects in this year’s event. High-scoring Seth Coatta is also not to be taken lightly for REAL Athletics. We’ll see who comes out on top in this marquee matchup.
