It was a slow week for commitments last week but that didn’t keep a few notables from coming off the board.  Here’s a look at some of those who offered up their verbal pledge over the past few days…

Texas struck big as 2016 C James Banks of La Lumiere (IN) verbally committed to the Longhorns.  Banks played with the Atlanta Celtics this past summer.

2016 PG Jaylen Fisher of Bolton (TN) verbally committed to UNLV on Wednesday.  Fisher played with the Team Thad program during the grassroots travel season.

Harvard struck on the trail Thursday as 2016 PG Bryce Aiken of the Patrick School (NJ) verbally committed to Coach Amaker.  He played with the PSA Cardinals last summer.

2016 PF Kevin Marfo of the Worcester Academy (MA) verbally committed to George Washington on Friday.  He played with the BABC program this past summer.

2016 F/C Reed Nikko of Maple Grove (MN) verbally committed to Missouri early last week.  He played with the Net Gain Sports program during the grassroots travel season.

2016 PG Devearl Ramsey of Sierra Canyon (CA) verbally committed to Nevada early last week.  He played with the California Supreme program last summer.

2016 PF Eddie Ekiyor of New Hampton (NH) verbally committed to Xavier last week.  He played with the CIA Bounce program during the grassroots travel season.

The annual NY2LA Sports Futures Camp is set for Saturday October 24, 2015 in Illinois.  The camp is open to 2017-2019 prospects and annually draws some of the top prospects and scouts in the country.  It’s a one day camp with all prospects receiving a reversible jersey, towel, socks, t-shirt, and lunch.  Past camp MVP’s include the likes of Semi Ojeleye (Duke), Cliff Alexander (Kansas/NBA), Kevon Looney (UCLA/NBA), Deonte Burton (Marquette/Iowa State), Jimmy Witt (Arkansas), Nolan Narain (San Diego State), etc.  For more registration information CLICK HERE
