Another big night for alumni from the NY2LA Sports family was on the docket Tuesday as standouts performed well on the pro and collegiate side.  Here’s a look at a few that delivered quality efforts on Tuesday…

Brad Beal (St. Louis Eagles) erupted for 31 points and 5 assists as the Washington Wizards rolled to a 123-108 win over the Boston Celtics.

Doug McDermott (Martin Brothers & Net Gain Sports) scored 12 points to help the Chicago Bulls to a 100-92 win over the Orlando Magic.

Garry Harris Jr. (D3 Pride) scored 10 points while grabbing 2 rebounds and kicking out 2 assists to help the Denver Nuggets to a 103-93 win over the Utah Jazz.

Karl-Anthony Towns (Sports U-Team Izod) scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Shabazz Muhammad (Dream Vision) finished with 16 points and 3 rebounds in a 112-111 win for the Minnesota Timberwolves over the Phoenix Suns Tuesday.

Jalen Brunson (Mac Irvin Fire) had 19 points and four assists, but No. 1 Villanova fell 74-72 at Marquette. Luke Fischer (Wisconsin Swing) scored 15 points for the Golden Eagles.

Esa Ahmad (All-Ohio Red) dropped 27 points and five rebounds to lead West Virginia to an upset win 85-69 over No. 2 Kansas.

Donovan Mitchell (The City) went for 29 points and three assists as No. 13 Louisville hammered Pittsburgh 106-51 on the road. 

Bronson Koenig (Playground Warriors/Wisconsin Swing) had a game-high 20 points for No. 15 Wisconsin, who topped Penn State 82-55 at home.

No. 22 Maryland defeated Rutgers 67-55 thanks to 17 points, six rebounds, and four assists from Melo Trimble (D.C. Premier).

Steve Taylor (Mac Irvin Fire) scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead Toledo to a 79-76 victory at Ohio. Jaaron Simmons (All-Ohio Red) had 17 points and 10 assists for the Bobcats. 

Wichita State cruised to an 87-45 home win over Southern Illinois. Markis McDuffie (Sports U) led the way with 20 points and nine rebounds.

John Collins (Florida Flash) recorded a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds, but Wake Forest fell 81-76 at Syracuse. 

Reed Timmer (Ray Allen Select) had a game-high 27 points, six rebounds, and five assists as Drake edged Missouri State 72-71 at home.

Vanderbilt dropped a 71-70 decision to Arkansas, despite 16 points and six assists from Riley LaChance(Ray Allen Select). 

Matt Thomas (Wisconsin Playmakers) poured in 25 points to help Iowa State defeat Kansas State 70-65 at home. Wesley Iwundu (Houston Defenders) led the Wildcats with 15 points and six rebounds.
