The college basketball arena continues to move in hyperspace toward the glorious month of March and that means quality hoops action virtually every day.  With that comes a lot of quality individual performances from a host of NY2LA Sports alumni at the collegiate level.  The past few days has seen many perform strongly including, but not limited to, Trevon Bluiett, Peter Jok, Justin Tillman, Nigel Hayes, Semi Ojeleye, etc.  Here’s a look at those and others who’ve shined the past couple days in college basketball…

No. 6 Baylor edged Oklahoma State 72-69 thanks to 24 points and 11 rebounds from Johnathan Motley (Houston Defenders). 

Reid Travis (Howard Pulley) posted 26 points and 11 rebounds, but Stanford fell 74-67 at No. 9 Arizona. 

Kyle Washington (Howard Pulley) had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 11 Cincinnati to a 60-50 win over UCF. 

No. 24 Xavier hung on 72-61 versus DePaul. Trevon Bluiett (Indiana Elite) scored a game-high 20 points and grabbed seven boards in the win. 

Garret Covington (St. Louis Eagles) led Western Illinois to a 63-60 win over Oral Roberts. He scored a game-high 20 points in the victory.

Loyola (IL) dropped a 60-58 decision at Evansville despite 18 points and seven rebounds from Clayton Custer (Team Yobo). 

Jordan Barnett (St. Louis Eagles) powered in 23 points and seven rebounds, but Missouri was upended 76-73 at Texas A&M. 

Peter Jok (All-Iowa Attack) poured in 28 points and nine rebounds, but Iowa lost 101-89 at Minnesota in overtime. Isaiah Moss (Playground Elite/Mac Irvin Fire) added 19 points for the Hawkeyes. 

A.J. Jacobson (ECI Prospects) registered 26 points and 12 rebounds as North Dakota State dropped visiting South Dakota State 82-65. 

Indiana State picked up a 56-54 win at Bradley. Matt Van Scyoc (Playground Elite) led the way with 19 points.

Justin Tillman (REACH Legends) posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds as VCU edged George Washington 54-53 on the road. 

Sam Logwood (EG10) had 17 points and six rebounds to help New Mexico take care of Air Force 74-67. 

D.J. Fenner (D.C. Premier) dropped 37 points and six rebounds as Nevada blew past visiting UNLV 104-77.

Nebraska fell 70-69 in overtime to No. 7 Wisconsin. Glynn Watson Jr. (Illinois Wolves) led the way with 15 points for the Huskers. Nigel Hayes (All-Ohio Red) had 20 and Zak Showalter (Wisconsin Swing) finished with 15 to pace the Badgers.

Vince Edwards (All-Ohio Red) poured in 26 points and eight rebounds to help No. 16 Purdue edge Indiana 69-64 on the road. 

Duke knocked off North Carolina 86-78 thanks to 20 points from Luke Kennard (King James Shooting Stars). Jayson Tatum (St. Louis Eagles) added 19 points, nine rebounds, and five assists for the Blue Devils.

Semi Ojeleye (Mokan Elite) exploded for 30 points and 10 boards to lead No. 25 SMU past Temple 66-50. 

Trayvon Palmer (Playground Elite) went for 23 points and nine rebounds, but Chicago State dropped a 90-65 decision versus Seattle.

Milwaukee fell 76-65 at Wright State despite 19 points from Brock Stull (Rockford Ambassadors). 

Cortez Seales (Iowa Barnstormers) came off the bench to score 21 points and grab five rebounds to help North Dakota get past Eastern Washington 95-86 at home.

Alec Peters (Illinois Irish) posted a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds as Valparaiso dropped Cleveland State 78-57.

Jon Davis (D.C. Premier) went for 24 points, five rebounds, and four assists, but Charlotte fell 82-69 at UAB.

Washington lost 81-66 at Colorado despite 17 points from David Crisp (Team Bradley NW Panthers).

Nick Emery (Utah Reign) led BYU with 19 points in a 99-83 loss to Pepperdine.
