One of the top centers in Illinois is off the board as Connor Linke has committed to Bradley University and head coach Brian Wardle. Linke is a 6’9” senior center at St. Charles North High School (IL) and played for Fundamental University.

Linke picked the Braves over his other scholarship offers from Army West Point, Cal Poly, Lehigh, North Dakota, UC-Davis, and William & Mary. Wardle and staff got in on Linke recently, just offering him over a month ago towards the end of September.

The center is a big presence in the defensive paint. Skilled shot blocker and rim protector with his size and length. Has a good motor and rebounds the ball well. Linke has a developing offensive game that has progressed nicely. He scores the ball well in the post with his back to the basket in addition to having a nice jumper from the mid-range with expanding range.

Linke will be joining a Bradley team next year that is coming off one of the better seasons in years. Last season they won twenty games, won the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, and advanced on to the NCAA Tournament. In Bradley’s 2020 recruitment class, Linke will be joining 6’8” forward Darius Hannah of Milwaukee Academy of Science.
