The 2022 class has a number of talented prospects still on the board and one blue chip talent that will be a huge recruiting coupe wherever he goes is senior Chandler Jackson of Christian Brothers in Tennessee.

A 6-4 205 combo guard, Jackson is a blue chip scoring talent that is a walking bucket that embraces the moment and wants the ball with the game on the line.  An old school tough physical guard with some east coast flavor via the South, Jackson can absolutely take over the game from any level on the court and he has the ability to physically punish opposing guards at the mid-range level with a high level of consistency.  He has excellent instincts, a nice feel, excellent toughness, etc. but make no mistake his game is putting the ball in the basket and his ability to do so brings to mind comparables to guards like Chauncey Billups, Kemba Walker, etc. in terms of a high school version.

Jackson put on a show at last April’s Grassroots Showcase in Louisville, Kentucky and the electric guard didn’t look back as he has become one of the most coveted 2022’s left on the board.  After narrowing his list down to Kansas, Alabama, Vanderbilt, Memphis, Florida State, Missouri, Texas, Ole Miss, South Carolina State, and Virginia Tech in August he wrapped up his fall visits this past weekend with an official visit to Florida State.  A premium blue chip guard in the 2022 class nationally, Jackson’s best basketball lies ahead and he’s pound for pound as good a guard that exists in the senior class nationally and he stands to be a blue chip commitment wherever he decides to go.

Jackson played with the Team Thad program during the grassroots travel season.
