The 2010 NY2LA SPORTS Invitational tips of tonight in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a loaded crop of talented prospects like junior Percy Gibson will put it down in the Badger state and take aim at the coveted tournament championships.  Action will run throughout the weekend (i.e. May 21-23, 2010) with games being played at Homestead High School (Mequon, WI); the M.S.O.E. Kern Center (Milwaukee, WI); West Allis Central High School (West Allis, WI); Marquette Recreation Center (Milwaukee, WI); and Wisconsin Lutheran College (Milwaukee, WI).  For more information including a complete schedule to this weekends event CLICK HERE.

Prospect wise the tournament is expected to again feature some excellent talent up and down the divisions with the 17U division expected to draw the likes of Paul Jesperson (Wisconsin Playmakers); Josh Oglesby (Iowa Barnstormers); Jarrod Uthoff (Iowa Barnstormers); Percy Gibson (Team Detroit); Abdel Nader (Illinois Flash); Darnell Harris (Milwaukee Hurricane Rebels); Quevyn Winters (Milwaukee Spartans); J.J. Panoske (Randolph Boys Club); etc. 

Jesperson recently landed offers from Minnesota and Northwestern and is considered one of the fastest rising prospects in the country along with the likes of Oglesby and Uthoff who've both grabbed a number of offers including ones from Arizona State earlier this year.  Gibson is considered a top 75 big nationally by most and one of the hottest interior prospects in the country.  Nader recently committed to New Mexico while Winters did the same to Baylor.  Harris and Panoske are just a few of the many highly regarded prospects from Wisconsin slated to put it down at this year's event. 

Results will be posted nightly online here at NY2LASPORTS.COM.  The playoffs will wrap on Sunday with all championship games for boys and girls taking place at Homestead High School in Mequon, Wisconsin late Sunday afternoon and early Sunday evening.  Day passes are available to the general public throughout the weekend.
