A stellar opening weekend at the annual NY2LA Sports Breakfast of Champions Fall League hit the hardwood in the Badger state and after a morning session of skills the love was in the air as 2012 PG Carrington Love turned in an electric opening day performance to lead the top performances in the high school division of the BOC.  Today we begin our look back at week 1 of the BOC with a list of the top performers…

Really liked his overall floor game this spring and summer and he came up big this past weekend with a number of excellent plays on both ends of the floor.  A strong powerful athlete with instincts and skill, Cegers attacks the glass, plays hard on both ends, and has the ability to score in transition and in half court sets with consistency.

4. Kevon Looney – 2014 – SF – Milwaukee Hamilton
Stat Line – 11 points (4-12 FG), 8 Rebounds, 4 Assists, 1 Block, 0 Turnovers
Struggled a bit from the field but in his usual fashion he made plays on both ends, kept some things alive, and made plays when it mattered the most in helping his team to victory.  In the final minutes of a tight game his block of a put back followed by a defensive rebound and then a basket on the other end was key to his team’s victory.
