(1)TIE DEONTE BURTON – 6-5 – SF – MILWAUKEE VINCENT (VIEW PROFILE)
A powerful athletic specimen who’s verbally committed to Marquette, Burton shares the top spot with Wilson after an excellent spring/summer campaign and a Co-MVP performance at the annual Breakfast of Champions Fall League.  Equipped with power, athleticism, and skill, Burton is has triple double potential every time he takes the floor and is unmatched physically due to his power and explosion.

(1)TIE DUANE WILSON JR. – 6-3 – PG – DOMINICAN (VIEW PROFILE)
Exceptionally skilled with instincts and improved power and explosion, Wilson is virtually unstoppable off the bounce attacking the rim and he’s added an ability to elevate to his game that’s already drawn highlight reviews.  He sees the floor well, has a solid mid-range stroke, can knock down the trey ball, and hits the court on the attack.  Shares the top spot with Burton.

(3)    LUKE FISCHER – 6-9 – F/C – GERMANTOWN (VIEW PROFILE)
Took a couple steps back in July but so far this season he’s been virtually unstoppable in the paint for Germantown as he’s collected double double performances game in and game out.  The difference right now is he’s focused on dominating the paint and not trying to knock down jumpers and with that type of mindset he’s only going to get better.  Excellent size and length pairs with skill and instincts to form the top post prospect in the state of Wisconsin in the 2013 class.

(4)    MATT THOMAS – 6-2 – G – ONALASKA (VIEW PROFILE)
A lethal perimeter shooter at his best, Thomas was absolutely sensational at times this past July as he blistered the nets game in and game out to the excitement of high major coaches in the gym.  He’s tough, can handle the ball, hits the mid-range jumper, and has a lights out perimeter stroke beyond the arc.  On any given day Thomas is in the same discussion as Burton, Wilson, Fischer, etc.  An excellent high major talent who’s off to a solid start for Onalaska early this season.

(5)    BRONSON KOENIG – 6-2 – G – LA CROSSE AQUINAS (VIEW PROFILE)
Already committed to Wisconsin, Koenig is a skilled perimeter talent with solid passing skills, range beyond the arc, and a state title under his belt.  Has the ability to take over the game at times both creatively and shooting the basketball and looks like a perfect fit for Bo Ryan at Wisconsin.  Koenig sitting at five shows the depth in the 2013 class as he was electric at times last spring and continues to play at an elite level.

OTHER NOTABLES

(8)    JARVIS GARRETT – 5-10 – PG – WEST ALLIS CENTRAL (VIEW PROFILE)
Easily the most underrated talent in the state for the 2013 class, Garrett is an excellent pure lead guard who makes his team better.  Witness three championships in national tournaments this spring at the 17U level and that speaks volumes to his leadership ability.  Handles the ball well, plays solid on the ball defense, attacks the rim off the bounce, has exceptional vision and playmaking ability, and has shown an improved stroke beyond the arc, Garrett is a talent schools are sleeping on as he is a pure lead guard in every sense of the word.

(9)    JAMAAR MCKAY – 6-4 – G/F – MILWAUKEE WASHINGTON (VIEW PROFILE)
One of the forgotten talents in the state at times by some, McKay is a classic slashing win that gets to the rim off the bounce, excels in transition, and can get 20 points in a variety of ways.  He has a knack for scoring the basketball and with continues development both physically and skill wise he should really evolve into a quality wing talent over the next 12-15 months.

(10)    LUKE WORTHINGTON – 6-8 – F/C – HOMESTEAD (VIEW PROFILE)
Continues to elevate as a prospect, Worthington is a solid post talent with instincts, an above average skill package on the blocks, and some nice upside.  Needs to get tougher, more athletic, and more consistent to reach his potential but has double double potential and the ability to serve as a dominant post presence with continued hard work and development.  Excellent student.

(19)    TYLER MILLER – 6-4 – SF – NICOLET (VIEW PROFILE)
Really like his game and he has been one who’s quietly developed into a solid prospect.  Runs the floor well, has solid instincts, can finish in transition, has a mid-range stroke, etc. Miller has really evolved with his improved perimeter stroke that was evident this past Saturday as he drained four trey balls in a losing effort.  Needs to continue to work hard and develop but Miller could see his stock really take off this spring.

(22)    JAKE VERHAGEN – 6-5 – SF – APPLETON WEST (VIEW PROFILE)
One of a few sleepers in this class, Verhagen has nice length, a solid frame, and range beyond the arc that’s impressive at times.  With hard work and continued development Verhagen could really open some eyes this season and during the spring/summer travel season.  A solid talent to keep an eye on in the coming months.
