Kansas bound 2012 PF Perry Ellis wrapped a stellar weekend of action on Saturday by helping his team to victory and capturing tournament MVP honors in the process.  That and more as we look at Saturday’s standouts from across the country…

2012 PF Perry Ellis scored 31 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to help Wichita Heights (KS) to a 69-52 victory on Saturday.  Ellis played with the Kansas Pray and Play Players last summer.

Marquette bound 2012 F Steve Taylor scored 19 points and 2013 SF Jabari Parker added 16 as Simeon (IL) rolled to a 73-54 victory at the Penny Hardaway Shootout. Both Taylor and Parker played with the Mac Irvin Fire last summer.

Georgetown bound 2012 G D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera scored 26 points, UCLA bound 2012 talent Jordan Adams added 22, and N.C. State bound 2012 PG Tyler Lewis added 19 as Oak Hill (VA) outlasted Melrose (TN) 76-71 at the Penny Hardaway Shootout on Saturday.

2013 G/F Nick Fuller scored 32 points to help Sun Prairie (WI) to a 63-42 victory over Beloit Memorial (WI) on Saturday.  He played with the Wisconsin Swing last summer.

2012 PG Dominic Artis scored 21 points and kicked out 7 assists while 2012 F Winston Shepard added 12 points 10 rebounds and 4 assists to help Findlay Prep (NV) past Bishop Gorman (NV) 73-61 on Saturday.  2012 G/F Shabazz Muhammad scored 19 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in a losing effort for Gorman.  Artis played with the Oakland Soldiers while Shepard and Muhammad played with the Dream Vision program last summer.

2013 G Matthew Thomas scored 30 points to help Onalaska (WI) to a 61-59 victory over St. Paul Johnson (MN) on Saturday.  Thomas played with the Wisconsin Playmakers last summer.

Michigan State bound 2012 SG Gary Harris scored 13 points and grabbed 9 rebounds to help Hamilton S.E. (IN) past Fishers (IN) 50-47 on Saturday.  Harris played with the D3 Pride last summer.

2013 G Isaac Hamilton poured in 28 points to help Saint John Bosco (CA) to a 66-59 victory over Louisiana Salem (LA) on Saturday.  Hamilton played with the Oakland Soldiers last summer.

2013 G Duane Wilson Jr. scored 21 points as Dominican (WI) rolled to an 80-33 victory on Saturday.  He played with the Playground Elite last summer.

2013 SG Keith Frazier poured in 34 points but it wasn’t enough as Kimball (TX) fell to South Oak Cliff (TX) 69-66 on Saturday.

2014 PG Tyler Ullis scored 27 points to help Marian Catholic (IL) to a 64-51 victory on Saturday.  He played with the Meanstreets program last summer.

2013 PF Toby Hegner scored 17 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to help Berlin (WI) to victory on Saturday.  Hegner played with the Wisconsin Playmakers last summer.

2013 SG Riley Dearring scored 14 as Minnetonka (MN) rolled to a 77-43 victory on Saturday.  He played with the Net Gain Sports program last summer.

2015 PG Marcus Lovett exploded for 45 points as Burbank Providence (CA) defeated North Hollywood Campbell Hall (CA) 73-66 on Saturday.
