Head Coach Buzz Williams and Marquette University scored on the recruiting trail once again on Tuesday as in-state 2013 PG Duane Wilson Jr. of Dominican (WI) verbally committed to the Golden Eagles.

Standing at 6-3, the talented perimeter prospect recently helped lead his high school team to the WIAA Division 4 state championship in a season where he averaged close to 19 PPG.  Long regarded as one of the premiere 2013 guards in the country, Wilson has excellent instincts that he pairs with athleticism, explosion, range, and playmaking ability to form a lethal combo guard with the ability to create and score on demand.  After overcoming a knee injury early in his career, Wilson has continued to refine his skill set along with his speed and explosion and is regarded as a consensus top 100 prospect nationally and a top 25-50 prospect by some.

This is another solid commitment for the Golden Eagles as Wilson joins fellow in-state 2013 talent Deonte Burton who committed to Coach Williams and Marquette this fall and the pair gives Coach Williams verbal commitments from the top two juniors in the state of Wisconsin.  Wilson played with the Playground Elite program last summer.
