Pool play came to a close on Friday in Florida and talented lead guard Jarvis Garrett kept his foot to the pedal with another strong effort in helping lead his team to a convincing victory.  We look at that and more as we recap Day 3 in Florida…

Zachary Denny - 2013 - G - All-Ohio Red
6-1.5 - Valley View HS - Germantown, OH

Denny was on fire on Friday, pouring in 17 points at the half for All-Ohio Red against Atlanta Xpress. Denny shot well from three-point range, but can also find his way into the paint and score closer to the basket as well. That was evident on Friday as he helped power All-Ohio to an impressive victory in Florida.

Jarvis Garrett – 2013 – PG – TP Elite
5-11 – West Allis Central H.S. – Milwaukee, WI

Time after time the talented lead guard delivers for TP Elite and Friday was no exception as he poured in a 25 point effort on dribble drives, jumpers, etc. while also distributing 10 assists to serve as the catalyst in a 20 point victory over the Indiana Elite Stars.  Garrett was impressive with his effort and production and played hard from start to finish while delivering a strong floor performance on Friday.

Jonathan Motley - 2014 - F - Houston Defenders
6-8 - North Shore HS - Houston, TX

Motley had 17 points against the Albany City Rocks, connecting on a few mid- range jumpers and throwing in a few dunks. The 6-8 forward continues to get more comfortable with his game offensively and he was impressive with his activity, athleticism, and impact on both ends of the floor Friday.

Tyler Roberson – 2013 – F – NJ Roadrunners
6-8 – Roselle Catholic – Union, NJ

The long athletic forward delivered an excellent performance on Friday as he showcased his size, length, athleticism, and versatile scoring package to deliver an impressive double double performance.  Roberson attacked the glass, knocked down mid-range jumpers, powered home dunks in transition, etc.  He was impressive and looks the part of a talented forward with a nice ceiling.

Kameron Williams - 2013 - G - Baltimore Elite
6-1 - Mount St. Joseph - Baltimore, MD

Williams had 20 points for Baltimore Elite in their lopsided victory over the Birmingham Storm. Williams is quick with the ball, an excellent mid-range game, and good touch on his shots.

Cedric Hankerson - 2013 - G/F - Gold Coast
6-4 - Coral Reef HS - Miami FL

Hankerson came up with some big shots late in regulation and in overtime against Texas Pro. Hankerson can score inside and out and he’s very tough to stop with his versatility and strength.

Leonard Allen - 2013 - F - Texas Pro
6-11 - Roundrock HS - Roundrock, TX

Allen is an intriguing prospect with his size and raw skill set. His potential is very high and at times, Allen did some impressive things in the post with the ball in his hands against Gold Coast. The 6-11 forward blocked a shot, took a charge, and hit a turnaround jump hook all in overtime to help Texas Pro to the victory.

Shadell Millinghaus - 2013 - G - Albany City Rocks
6-3 - Evilyn Mack HS - Brooklyn, NY

Millinghaus has a solid tournament running the point for Albany City Rocks. Millinghaus is a tremendous athlete who can get to the rim and make some terrific plays in the open floor.

Aaron Harrison - 2013 - G - Houston Defenders
6-5 - Travis HS - Houston, TX

Harrison had 16 points for the Houston Defenders in their win over Albany City Rocks. Harrison displayed some nice defense, taking the Rocks’ guards out of the game at times.

Jalen Lindsey – 2014 – G/F – Georgia Stars
6-7 – Christ Presbyterian Academy – Franklin, TN

The talented wing was impressive in spurts on Friday as he showed his versatility and athleticism in a dominant victory over the Baltimore Stars.  Lindsey soared in transition, attacked in half court sets, and showed flashes of his highly regarded status in helping his team to victory.

Jarquez Smith – 2013 – PF – Georgia Stats
6-10 – Jones County H.S. – Haddock, GA

The highly regarded interior talent showed some solid post moves, nice athleticism, and shot blocking prowess on Friday with a solid floor performance.  Equipped with size, length, athleticism, and upside, the talented interior prospect looked the part of the high major prospect he’s regarded to be in flashes while helping monitor the paint in a win over the Georgia Stars.

Recruiting Notes
2013 G Shadell Millinghaus has an offer from Iona. Penn State, Oregon, USC, Pittsburgh, Mississippi, Cincinnati, Hoftstra, and LaSalle, are also interested.

2013 F Nigel Hayes of the All Ohio Red said Wisconsin, Xavier, Stanford, Ohio State, and Toledo are five of the schools at the top of his list right now.

2013 PF Jarquez Smith lists Florida State, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Alabama, Tennessee, and Auburn as a few of the schools heavily in pursuit of him right now.

2013 G Kameron Williams lists offers from Virginia Tech, Miami, Dayton, Massachusetts, South Florida, Richmond, Villanova, Florida State, Boston College, Providence, and Rutgers. Syracuse, Ohio State, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Texas, Memphis, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State are all expressing interest. 

2013 Forward Leonard Allen claims an offer from Illinois State and says schools from California and Texas have expressed interest.

2013 G/F Cedric Hankerson has offers from Virginia Tech, Boston, Penn, Wyoming, Denver, LaSalle, Furman, and Vermont.

2013 F Antonio Davis Jr. claims offers from a host of schools including, but not limited to, Tennessee, Georgia, Clemson, UTEP, etc.  He also indicated that he’s collecting interest from Florida, Oklahoma, Georgetown, and Georgia Tech amongst others.
