Dropped our 2015 rankings today at PHENOMNATIONHOOPS.COM and when you talk about trying to project so far in advance needless to say it is an extremely difficult process. Really just a guide to start with tons of movement expected to happen up and down the list in the coming years but there are a number of talented prospects on the board who stand to generate a lot of burn in the coming years. Not easy but definitely a decent start in the right direction for that class.
Checked out Hamiton and Vincent earlier this week and gotta give props to Hamilton for their performance in the first half. Exceptional defensive effort in the first half and point guard Charles Lee took control early and often. On the flp side, also gotta give a shout out to the young Vincent squad for their performance in the 3rd quarter. When you consider all the factors, they could've folded shop but they came out with heart and gave a great effort in the third session behind the activity and effort of Nolan and Burton. Yes they didn't play well the first half but they didn't quit and they played hard in the second half and sometimes there's something to be said for that in life. Hamilton closed it out and looked great in the process and right now really looks to be the best team in the City Conference early on.
Swish & Dish Spring Warm-Up is April 2-4, 2010 and when I say it's going to be ridiculously loaded with talent that may be the understatement of the year. The 5th anniversary event will likely be the best we've ever held and will involve a who's who of some of the very best in the country from top to bottom.
Kids are wrapping up their finals and first semester marking period right now from coast to coast in some schools and cannot stress how important taking care of your core classes are each and every semester. If you have to make a choice in terms of studying make sure you give your primary focus to the core classes. All classes are important but for NCAA purposes your core is the most important. Also, if you have a chance to put in some extra credit work and get that grade up a bit, do it. Sometimes it can be tiring but it's worth it more than you think. Get your homework done, put in the extra effort, it will eventually pay off in the long run.
