2015 G Drew Lock and 2015 G Tez Scroggins were named Co-MVPs for the 15U Division of the 2012 NY2LA Sports Spring Extravaganza this morning.  Lock and Scroggins turned in stellar efforts throughout the weekend and helped the KC Run GMC program capture the 15U Platinum Championship this past weekend. 

The 15U Championship game will be available for viewing online at NY2LAHOOPS.TV later this week.

2017 F/C Jake Bennett of Playground Elite Debakker has been named 13U MVP for last weekends 2012 Swish 'N Dish Spring Warm-Up.  Bennett was stellar throughout the weekend including a solid 13 point effort in the Platinum Championship game victory over the Illinois T-Wolves.

2016 F/C Ammar Becar of the Playground Elite J-Smith 14U squad has been named MVP of the 14U Division for the 2012 Swish 'N Dish Spring Warm-Up.  Becar served as a dominant force throughout the weekend and delivered an 18 point performance in a 60-56 victory over Canada's CIA Bounce 14U in the Platinum Championship which subscribers can view in its entirety at NY2LAHOOPS.TV.

2015 PF Darion King of Racine Case (WI) delivered a scintillating performance at last weekend's Swish 'N Dish Spring Warm-Up and the talented freshman has been named MVP of the 15U Division as a result.  King was dominant throughout the weekend including, but not limited to, a 23 point performance in the 15U Platinum Championship game where he helped lead the Playground Elite to a 72-62 victory over the Illinoins Wolves which subscribers can view in its entirety at NY2LAHOOPS.TV.

2014 SF Jordan Barnett of CBC (MO) has been named the 16U MVP for last weekend's Swish 'N Dish Spring Warm-Up.  The talented wing helped lead the St. Louis Eagles to the 16U Showcase Platinum Championship with a number of solid performances including a 15 point effort in the 68-61 Platinum Championship game victory over the Mac Irvin Fire which subscribers can view in its entirety at NY2LAHOOPS.TV.

Meanstreets delivered a scintillating team performance at last weekend's NY2LA Sports Swish 'N Dish Spring Warm-Up as they used a balanced attack to capture the 17U Showcase Championships Platinum Championship by defeating the Wisconsin Swing 76-72 in the championship game.

To further bolster the fact that they delivered an exceptional team effort last weekend, 2013 G Kendrick Nunn of Simeon (IL), 2013 PG Jaylon Tate of Simeon (IL), and 2013 F Jubril Adekoya of Andrew (IL) all have been named Co-MVPs for the 17U Division of the Swish 'N Dish Spring Warm-Up.  Nunn was solid throughout the weekend including a 14 point effort in the title game, Tate was spectacular on the final day with back to back to back big time performances, and Adekoya jumped out of the box with a 17 point effort on the opening night and continued to deliver stellar peformances throughout the weekend.

2012 G/F Shabazz Muhammad of Bishop Gorman (NV) committed to UCLA on Wednesday.  The #1 ranked prospects in the 2012 class according to NY2LASPORTS.COM, Muhammad was the Co-MVP of the 2011 UA Summer Jam presented by NY2LA Sports.

Muhammad played with the Dream Vision program last summer.

2013 PG Duane Wilson Jr. of Dominican (WI) verbally committed to Head Coach Buzz Williams and Marquette University on Tuesday.  Wilson led Dominican to the WIAA Division 4 State Championship this past weekend and is regarded as a consensus top 100 prospect in the country. 

Wilson joins fellow 2013 in-state talent Deonte Burton, another top 100 prospect nationally, in Marquette's 2013 recruiting class.  Wilson played with the Playground Elite during the grassroots travel season.

2015 C Diamond Stone posted a triple double with 15 points, 15 rebounds, and 14 blocked shots while 2013 PG Duane Wilson Jr. dropped a game high 22 points to power Dominican (WI) to a 67-44 victory in the WIAA State Division 4 Semi-Finals on Thursday.  Stone played with the Milwaukee Young Legends while Wilson played with the Playground Elite program last summer.
