The 2012 NY2LA Sports Invitational saw a brilliant display of perimeter shooting throughout the weekend at the high school levels and the middle school divisions features much of the same led by the likes of 8th grade guard Trevor Anderson who blistered the nets game in and game out on his way to capturing the M.V.P. for the 14U division after helping lead the Wisconsin Playground Warriors to the 14U Platinum Championship at the 7th installment of the annual hoops gala earlier this month.  Here’s a look at the 14U All-Tournament team from the tournament…

2014 PG Reed Timmer of New Berlin Eisenhower (WI) and 2014 G Riley Lachance of Brookfield Central (WI) have been named Co-MVPs for the 16U division of last weekend's NY2LA Sports Invitational.  Timmer and Lachance were exceptional throughout the weekend as they helped lead their RAS travel team to the 16U Platinum Championship last Sunday in Wisconsin.

Marquette bound 2013 SF Deonte Burton of Milwaukee Vincent H.S. (WI) headlines the 17U All-Tournament team for the 2012 NY2LA Sports Invitational held this past weekend.  Burton was named M.V.P. for the 17U division after helping lead his TP Elite travel squad to the 17U Platinum Championship on Sunday.  The following is the 17U All-Tournament Team from this past weekend

2013 SF Deonte Burton of Milwaukee Vincent H.S. (WI) has been named the 17U MVP for the 2012 NY2LA Sports Invitational after helping lead the TP Elite to the 17U Platinum Championship this past weekend.  Burton scored 19 in a semi-final win over the Wisconsin Playmakers and then added 13 in the championship game including a last second layup to lift TP Elite past the Wisconsin Swing 65-63 for the championship.
